Social Studies TEKS Update-LRE Style
Join us for the second year of this Law-Related Education, State Bar of Texas initiative as you prepare for 2012-2013 school year. Our one day program will focus on key people, events, and court cases now added to the social studies Texas and American History and Government courses 7-12. Using the history, government, and citizenship strands of the TEKS, separate breakout sessions with new innovative lessons will be conducted for middle, and high school teachers. Teachers will receive all materials from the first year and the new material developed for this year in electronic format. Lunch will be provided on site.
