Through the generosity of the State Bar of Texas, educator training is conducted throughout the year. Training sessions can last from one hour to forty hours in length. The Law-Related Education staff conducts most of the training sessions, but we do have a group of trained consultants to help when needed. One two-day general conference is held in February each year for around 160 teachers who come from around the state. Two one-week institutes are held in the summer, which has a narrower focus (Courts of Texas and Law and the Humanities for 20-25 educators). |
